Would you be insulted if I told you that you probably don’t understand what it is like to be a combat veteran in the United States? Don’t be. Instead, join the national dialogue with veterans explaining what “our” decision to put boots on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan have done to them and their families.
We have a talk set for tomorrow at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco. We have three combats vets and a congresswoman. I hope we get an audience.
