Honey is great tasting and beautiful to watch as it drips from a honeycomb through a strainer into a glass bowl. These photos were taken yesterday as we harvested about five pounds of honey. Our goal is to support the bees and their pollination efforts. We remove a limited number of honeycombs when the hive is crowded and we are always careful to leave more than enough honey in the hive for the bees to eat.
