Honey Bee or Yellow Jacket?

In my honey bee crazy backyard I sometimes see a yellow jacket. I like how they look on our old fence, but that is as far as it goes. The honey bee is fuzzy with brown and amber coloring while the yellow jacket has bright markings on a longer, thinner body.
