In 2012 I joined thousands of others in Sacramento for a last look at the space shuttle Endeavor as it was to fly over the Capitol on the back of a jumbo jet. This was the farewell tour for a NASA shuttle that had logged 123 million space miles and was to be retired. 015 - Copy - CopyThe crowd, myself included, was looking the wrong way–mob mentality at work–when the duo sailed by. I turned and got off one shot, then they were gone!
