When I read the first few words of your post before actually opening it up, I wondered if you had cardinals in California. I soon recognized the chair.
The flowers are in full bloom with an abundance of butterflies. My squirrel proof bird feeder is under siege by a very aggressive squirrel. The squirrel manages to knock off the top of the feeder. I have had to resurrect my squirt gun to shoot him down.
We had a nice visit from both boys and their families last weekend. I fixed a sit-down breakfast and dinner for 12 for the three days they were here. It was ungodly hot so we spent most of the time in water. Fortunately Sloan had us all out to his boat and we were there in a sandy beach for 9 hours. It was a godsend.
How are Carrie and Eli doing? Derek and family?
I have to believe you are spending most of your days in Carmel given the summer heat. Does Anne enjoy any better than before?
I need to blast Andy out of his chair. He did take a long bike ride this morning, but I want to show him Rocky Bluff as he has never been there. It is nice for once, so we have to take advantage of the opportunity.
