From a distance of 150 feet, we thought there was a bobcat high up in an oak tree. But as we neared the bobcat shrunk down to a scared feline with one very long tail. Anne talked it down to a lower branch and after a minute all was well with the world.
My labels: grandfather, father, veteran, writer, poet, photographer and dreamer in pursuit of the meaning of life. Getting close, although I'm running out of time--probably why I'm so close.

Perfect color for a bobcat. Nice of Annie to help it get out of the tree. Love the photo.

I’ve seen bobcats around here, so that and the color tipped me initially to believe it was a bobcat.
