Steppin’ Out…


This quail chick, about two weeks old, says hello to life in our backyard. Those are big feet.
The three chicks in this quail family stick together.

    Have never captured a picture of a quail chick. Have captured a few shots of adult quail. They certainly do have big feet. Enjoyed your photos.

    Thank you. I took these shots through a window. If I’d opened the backdoor, the adults would have sounded the alarm.
