Dog Habits


When Molly wants something, she looks up at me with her eyes and freckles in an expression that to me says, “I’m sad but I don’t have to be if…”. She is an effective communicator and the lead watch dog for the household.


Ivan needs lots of exercise, so we throw a tennis ball and he usually will bring it back except when his sense of smell takes over. He thinks by smelling. Some might say he gets distracted, but in reality he is acutely aware of his surroundings and who or what has been in the space he now occupies.
