Coastal Landscape

Yesterday Leo and I walked on the sandy pathways of Asilomar State Beach that meander through flowering vegetation steps away from the Pacific Ocean. I wore a sweatshirt on a day when temperatures inland and across the country were triple digits. In essence there is a thin fog by the ocean and nowhere else, hence, the reason why there are flowers in the sand.
