It’s 7:in the morning and no one is on the beach but Leo and myself. However, there is a pricey sandal for a left foot in the parking lot….an overnight guest. As a veteran of beach cleaning at our two beaches in Carmel, I can safely say that abandoned sand toys and single sandals are common sights.
