Three Cheers for the Lion’s Ear

We bought this drought tolerant plant, the Lion’s Ear, about six years ago. Put it in a pot outside. After three years I thought it was dead. It had one bloom when I dropped it into a hole and forgot about it. Now the Lion’s Ear is truly the king of the jungle, aka, the front yard.
