I haven’t posted lately, my thoughts and images distracted by world chaos and other such things. But then I had an epiphany in my driveway. I had just driven a 40-year-old VW camper van 192 miles over challenging roads without incident. I looked at the front windshield where a beautiful yellow butterfly was tucked under the wipers—road kill somewhere along the trip. I removed it carefully and laid it to rest.

I am still processing this random encounter other than to initially acknowledge it is time to concentrate on the meaning of life.
