A Baby Orca “Saved”…for now.

A baby orca washed up on Carmel River State Beach yesterday. Volunteers and staff from the Marine Mammal Center tended to the orca, including loading it on a truck where it was taken to a marine hospital. Don’t know the health status of the orca. 🙏🏼

Update: the orca died on the way to the hospital.😥
