Sacramento Shadows and Reflections

Downtown Sacramento has a mix of office buildings with wide use of glass. At sunset yesterday reflections and shadows created an eclectic look that I find more appealing than the shadow-less hours.

Empty Chairs….

The walkway along the Sacramento River in what is called Old Town has comfortable, durable chairs that are usually occupied on warm summer nights. But it is winter and the chairs were empty last night, as expected.

Tower Bridge at Night

Sacramento was a gold rush town 170 years ago, hence a reason for painting the Tower Bridge a golden color that shines bright even at night, thanks to lights that dot this span of steel over the Sacramento River.
