I was taking a telephoto shot of two quails crossing the road when a large bird, a crow, perhaps, swooped down into my line of sight. The result was a mediocre photo made…worse? Whatever, the idea is to click away and move on.

As I raise the camera to capture the scrub jay overhead, I acknowledge that once again I am not meeting my 2020 resolution to photograph people more than birds. Well, for one people don’t sit on electrical wires. And there is always tomorrow.
Rather than pull weeds I placed an Anne-created ceramic clown in the bramble. Ha,ha! I have reached my daily goal of more laughter in life.
