Other than framed photographs on the wall, we have “items” from the ocean positioned around the house. This sea urchin shell rests on a small piece of driftwood in our kitchen.

I stumbled across this heart-shaped rock on Carmel-by-the-Sea beach yesterday. Looks like it rolled in with the tide, judging from the kelp stuck to it.
