Wildfire Sun
Wildfires are casting a thick haze over much of Northern California. The sun is now a soft orange. You can look at it without consequence–its light is dull. I took this shot through a screened window yesterday. Wildfires and the pandemic have made life…bizarre.

Goats to the Rescue…
On my weekly drive to the grocery store I pass a vacant field that has become a fire hazard during the current hot, dry weather. But yesterday the field was full of goats chomping on the wild grasses. Took this shot while waiting for the traffic light to turn green.

Sierra Haze
Took this shot yesterday morning at 70 mph near the summit of I-80 in the Sierra Mountains. Wildfire smoke has cast a haze over much of California. There were no clear views on this trip…and I wasn’t driving.

We have a wildfire sun in California that looks like a harvest moon. Took this shot a few minutes ago, Sunday morning. It is dusk all the time. Don’t walk outside unless mandatory and wear a mask when you do.
