The walls of the historic Carmel Mission are looking good if you like the worn out look. I do.
The weathered adobe and stone of the Carmel Mission tells a story, especially these three crosses etched on a wall facing the street. Is it some form of graffiti, or a message from laborers who helped build the 18-century structure? Thoughts?
Until yesterday I did not know black nets keep birds and bats from flying into the Carmel Mission bells. In brief, I couldn’t see the nets until I enlarged a telephoto shot of the belfry, or maybe I simply need new glasses.
