Day Time Moon

In the late morning yesterday the skies were clear, the moon bright,  over the Pacific Ocean on the Monterey Coast. I took this hand-held shot, capturing some moon craters in the process. Then I went to the dentist. Such is life.

The Odd Photo…

Yesterday afternoon a highly visible moon settled over my neighbor’s chimney–two houses away. Rather  than retrieve a telephoto lens, I used the camera as is with a 50mm Nikkor  lens (1:1.4).
