Ivan’s head disappears in a desperate search for his bone which is actually a peanut left by a squirrel. The peanut is long gone, but no one told Ivan.
Molly loves to run at the beach and when it is time to leave, she sometimes lets me know that she’d prefer to stay, please! I took this photo while holding her leash. I relented.
I’ve never had a dog that mugged for the camera. Teddy and Molly were no exception until yesterday. We were at the beach–the two girls running free, in fact, I had lost track of them. We finished building a redwood bench yesterday. Our dogs disliked the construction process–too much noise. I took this shot of Molly two days ago–this is how she looks at me these days, intense, searching for understanding. She has evolved gradually into this behavior.
