Balanced ocean rocks pop up every now and then along the coast. This attempt was one of the better ones by an unidentified artist. The Pacific Ocean is a stone’s throw away.
Yesterday at Carmel Point a man was balancing rocks (and wood) in gusty winds.I saw at least six towers. The key point here was that the “balancer” was working on boulders–a wrong move could send him into a rough tide where injury of some type was assured.
