
Yesterday about 40 minutes from sunset, I stood there knowing this was a shot for the ages, but I had a dog leash in my hand, not a camera. Anne had her camera phone set on “stop action,” and so she handed me her dog leash and fired away at pelicans flying from Point Lobos north to the still waters at Carmel Beach where a feeding frenzy was going on about 500 yards out in the ocean. I love both of these shots, but if I had to pick one…well, let me know which one you’d select as the keeper! The two photos are in separate posts.
