Abadoned Web!

This spider web is outside my front door. Perhaps, a male spider spun the web and is taking a break to find a female—not a joke, it is what males do. The white dots in the web are reflections of sunlight on leaves behind the web which is invisible to my “naked” eye save for the angle in which I was as able to focus the camera. Usually spiders hang out in the middle of the web and when there is a vibration from an incoming fly, they take care of business.

One of my best photos ever was a spider web in sunlight like this. I didn’t notice at the time the multi-colored beach towel hanging on the line behind it that made the shot!
