A few minutes ago the morning calm was altered briefly by the basso barks of Sammy. It was too early for the mailman. No cats or dogs in sight. Yes, across the street a blackbird was checking us out. Is this a Brewer’s Blackbird? If you can tell from the photo, let me know. Location: Northern California.
