Minutes ago I took this photo of ice patterns on my black Prius at sunrise. Today the South Pole recorded a record low 138-degrees (F) below zero. I recall being on a photo assignment in Boston on a record cold day many years before digital cameras—the shutter on my Nikon froze. Stay warm!
