Today is the home opener for the San Francisco Giants. Since I can’t be at the game, I give you the first California poppy in my backyard to open up this spring. Legend has it if this poppy opens on opening day for the Giants, which it did, the Giants will win. Game starts in a few minutes.
Update: Giants win 7-3. The legend lives on.
