“Commuting illness” is the practice of driving towards the San Francisco Bay Bridge during rush hour and expecting that this time—Easter Vacation week—there won’t be a jam at the intersection shown in the photo. I’m in the line with all the red tailights. Two and a half-hours later I was home.
