Easter Triangle - Copy (2)California’s legendary freeways create an ” underworld” for the homeless, flea and farmer markets, parking and altered views of the sky. This shot was taken in Sacramento where I-80 and highways 99 and 50 meet.

When I lived in Los Angeles, traffic on the freeways dictated much of my life. There were certain times when freeway travel was a stupid idea. I resorted to riding a motorcycle to save commute time.

Recently I had to walk from a car dealership to my home in Sacramento, a trip that required I go under a freeway. When the roar of diesel semis were above me, I swear that people driving by looked at me as if I were down and out. Freeways will do that to you.
