Remembering B.T.

I found an abandoned wood frog in my garage this week. Was it a sign from my late friend, B.T.—not E.T.—Collins? Like B.T., the frog was missing a right arm and leg, a condition that B.T. once said caused him to swim in circles. He was always making jokes about his missing limbs lost in Vietnam during the war. He was a Green Beret captain and later, my son’s godfather. He would approve of this message.
