Took this photo with my cell phone this morning of the clouds over Sacramento as seen by the “Charles Swanston” memorial statue in Land Park. His son, George, commissioned the work, erected in 1924, to honor his father, a rancher/land developer, as well as the pioneers who settled this Gold Rush area. Charles is looking West.
