Last night I went on the roof of my house in search of the full moon, but didn’t find it in the fog. Forgot about it. This morning at 6:30 I went outside for fresh air and there it was high in the sky, laughing at me. Grabbed my camera, before a cup of coffee, and took this shot hand-held. Good enough to record another fullish moon over the Monterey Bay.
My favorite full moon shot this year is the photo below taken with a tripod on July 12, 2014 at 9 .m. in Sacramento. The tree outline helps the drama. I keep thinking the next full moon will be the best.
