DSC_0572 - Copy

While walking  around Manhattan this week with my daughter, I took this photo  that captures the mix of Manhattan architecture: the old and the not so old as reflections in the brand new.

I used to work in the city decades ago. Weather permitting I would eat lunch at an outdoor bench at Rockefeller Center, a highlight of the day. Commuting was a challenge: I walked to the train station in Rye, New York; rode the train to Grand Central Station and walked eight blocks in the wind and rain DSC_0666to get to 555 Madison Avenue where I edited newsletters for Prentice Hall. The building is now home to a medical center for men.
