I was on the front steps of my house yesterday evening when I saw a partial moon through bare tree branches. I grabbed my camera and took a hand-held shot. I got a flat white orb, not craters which I could see on this very clear night with the naked eye. So, I went to manual mode and slowed the shot to 1/40 of a second. First attempt was a giant blur. Held my breath, closed my eyes and shot again. Not perfect, but here it is. May 2015 be the year of exceeding expectations, no matter how small, how trivial. Happy New Year to all and a dose of peace and love for the world.
