Has Anybody Seen My Carrot?

We  buy organic produce and sometimes get a surprise like this super-mini carrot nestled in a bunch of grown-ups.

    Why is it that everything in minature is instantly adorable? It looks like perfection, but I’m guessing that it was probably quite fibrous due to being under-developed.
