Camellias are a popular Sacramento “bush, so much so, that the city has been called the “Camellia Capital.” There once was a camellia festival with awards given for the most beautiful flowers. The camellias in my backyard are rarely show perfect and that is just fine with me. So, here’s a photo of today’s best less than perfect camellia bloom.
