My trusty tripod of 40 years broke yesterday–so I hand-held this shot of the full moon resting on a neighbors’ tree. This shot is dedicated to the 100s of times that I used the Velbon VG-3, mostly for moon photos. The threads on the “screw” that connects the legs to the mount are worn smooth–doesn’t tighten anymore.
