I’ve taken shots of “professional cycling races in the past, including the AMGEN tour. It’s easy to take shots that look the same from year to year. Yesterday, the 10th AMGEN Tour of California went through the Sacramento area with the race starting with a quick trip across the iconic Tower Bridge. I chose to capture the landmark more than the strained faces of the cyclists. Shortly before the race started the bridge was clear save for the shadows from the sun above.
