Sammy as a Brooding Beethoven

One of the “benefits” of having three dogs is that photo-ops are many. This weekend Sammy–a head turner wherever he goes–spent some time looking through a screen door. For a second he reminded my of a brooding classical composer, say, Beethoven. Most people think he resembles a bear, not Beethoven. Whatever. He is a very happy senior dog.

FYI:  I like taking shots through metal screens with indirect sunlight–the subject’s features are both soft and dramatic.
