The Ruby-Crowned Kinglet Challenge

The ruby-crowned kinglet is described as a songbird that searches “frantically” for food. Spotted one in the front yard this week, but I couldn’t get a photo of its tiny ruby red crown. Apparently the kinglet only shows its ruby red marking when agitated and I didn’t feel like screaming at the bird.
