Squirrels are everywhere in Sacramento’s Capital Park. And why not? With so many trees to hide in and scores of visitors willing to feed them, it is truly the place to live a squirrel’s life of luxury. The only time the squirrels make news is when “the state” takes measures to control their population. People protest. The story fades fast and we soon have another day in the park.
