Yesterday was one of “firsts” for the New Year. I saw a monarch butterfly flit by before I could grab a camera. I walked by the first California poppy in bloom, complete with an insect on it. And in the sand I saw proof that Big Foot, or maybe it was “Big Hands” hangs out at Carmel Beach. Shocking!
