
The artists were out in full force yesterday at Point Lobos. .
The gentleman with the tripod in the water was capturing the rainbows that form when the water gently rolls on rocks in the ocean. He is a fan of Edward Weston, the famous photographer who took some of the great images of the Big Sur Coast.
I passed a painter who said she’d be done in three hours or so. I returned about a half-hour later and, based on her progress, I’d agreed that she would have a nice oil done by late afternoon.
