The “basin” of water in the foreground is the only way to tell it’s winter at Carmel Point. It rains this time of year. The view at the Point is the same year round. That’s Point Lobos across the bay. Yes, there are a lot of “points” around here. I’m a consistent sunset kind of guy in my wisdom( I think) years who grew up in winters with freezing temps and six-foot snow drifts. No more.
