In anticipation of a full moon coming this Thursday (10:32 p.m.), I took a practice shot a few days ago from the parking lot of the Carmel Mission using a tripod, 300 mm lens (f.9 at 1/125 sec). Amazed by what I got from an object that is an average of 238,000 miles away.
