Surfer at Carmel Point

Carmel Point is known for drownings, not surfing. So, I was surprised to see a surfer yesterday  waiting for the right wave just off the Point. The waves aren’t high, but they do roll fast, smashing into boulders at the blink of an eye. This guy was good–riding white water without falling. I was safe on the road overlooking the action.
