A record amount of driftwood is lining the beaches along the Carmel coast. Construction artisans are building huts and cabanas with reckless abandon. Shot this shade structure yesterday.
Actually I don’t know if there is a “record amount” of driftwood, but it is the most I’ve witnessed in a decade. Tides are coming in higher and harder than normal this month. Climate change? Earthquake on the way? Stay tuned.
