The Baskett Slough National Wildlife Refuge near Salem, Oregon is a shining example of the beauty of natural colors and textures. Over the coming weeks I will be posting photos taken on a road trip that my daughter and I took through coastal Oregon in June. This was my first on the ground exposure to California’s first neighbor to the north, but, more importantly, it was father-daughter time.
