The scrub-jay appeared angry yesterday when it discovered I had temporarily rearranged the birdbath area. I’ve noticed that some birds look angrier than others when, in reality, their focus is simply turned up due to possible danger ahead. 
This scrub-jay loves to take a daily bath and it doesn’t like to share with other jays. For dessert it will try to pick off some honeybees from my hive–it usually doesn’t succeed. Life goes on.
