full moon capitol
A full moon over California’s capitol –that extra light–symbolizes to me the power to overcome prejudice, fear and anger for the good of all people. We need this extra light in Washington, D.C.

When our country’s leaders  declared their independence from a king in 1776, they fashioned a constitution that would ensure that no one person could control matters. It was a brilliant plan that has survived the ages, although it has been slowly losing its shine to the growing power of the presidency. Now, we have a president with a child-like temperament who doesn’t understand what he doesn’t know…and he doesn’t know a great deal. Our constitution is facing its greatest test to date. We need that extra light to shine through the darkness created by prejudice, fear and anger.
