(Last of three related posts) The dim light masked the more than 40 rock monuments that one or more persons had crafted in the river bed. These stone creations blended in perfectly with their surroundings. Although rock towers are common along the coastline that I walk frequently,  I’ve never seen so many in one place as I did at Panther’s Den. According to park rules, rock piling is illegal.
